These terms should be read alongside the individual written proposal for each project.

Each job is based on the written proposal issued for that project. The proposal will describe the work included, materials, price, assumptions, exclusions and relevant timing information.
Prices are based on the information available when the proposal is prepared. Where the scope is clear, the agreed fixed price applies to that scope. If the condition of the property, wall, surface, product or access differs materially from the information provided, the work may need to be reviewed.
The agreed price covers the complete service described in the proposal, including preparation, travel where stated, materials or consumables where listed, completion and tidy handover.
Where Rockland Bespoke Living purchases materials specifically for a project, this will be explained in the proposal. Materials supplied by the customer remain the customer’s responsibility, including suitability, condition, instructions and manufacturer warranty.
Work will only be scheduled once the proposal has been accepted and any required payment has been received. An agreed arrival window is an estimated period rather than a guaranteed exact arrival time.
The balance is due as stated in the proposal or invoice. Payment methods accepted for a particular job will be confirmed in advance.
If additional work or materials become necessary, Rockland Bespoke Living will explain what has changed and any additional price. Work will not proceed beyond the agreed scope without the customer’s approval, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent damage or address a safety issue.
Where a contract is made at a distance or away from the trader’s business premises, the customer may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right. Whether that right applies depends on how the contract was formed and the nature of the work and materials involved.
If work begins during a cancellation period at the customer’s express request, the customer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation. Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Requests to cancel or change a job should be made as soon as possible. Any charge will reflect the circumstances, costs already incurred and applicable consumer law.
Work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill and in line with the agreed proposal. If the service does not conform to the contract, the customer may have statutory remedies, including asking for the service to be put right or seeking a price reduction where appropriate.
Where offered, an optional workmanship warranty will be subject to written terms provided for that project. It does not automatically cover customer-supplied products, manufacturer defects, misuse, accidental damage, alterations by others, normal wear and tear or deterioration of the underlying wall or surface.
Waste arrangements will be agreed before work begins. Any disposal charge or customer responsibility will be stated in the proposal.
Photographs will not be used publicly without separate customer consent. Personal information, addresses and identifying details will not be published without appropriate permission.
If the customer is unhappy with any aspect of the service, they should raise it as soon as possible. Further details are set out in the Complaints Procedure.
Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, including rights arising under applicable consumer protection law.
