Our Process

How it works

Clear communication starts before the work does. From your first message to the final tidy-up, the process is calm, straightforward and agreed in writing.

1 Tell me what you need

Send a short description of the job, along with photographs where useful. If you have several smaller tasks, send them together.

2 I review the job

I consider the location, materials, access, wall or surface type and whether the work is suitable for me to undertake.

3 You receive a written quote

The quote will explain:

  • The agreed scope of work
  • Materials included or required
  • The fixed price
  • Assumptions and exclusions
  • The expected arrival window
  • Payment arrangements

4 Materials are agreed

Where materials need to be purchased specifically for your job, this will be explained in the written quote before anything is ordered.

5 The work is completed

I arrive within the agreed window, work carefully and respectfully, and explain anything relevant if circumstances change.

6 Handover

Once the work is complete, we review it together. The area is left tidy and clear payment records are provided.

One visit, several jobs

Most customers do not have one job — they have a list. Send the list together and I’ll confirm what can sensibly be completed in one planned visit, with one clear written price.

Honest About Limits

Knowing what is outside the service matters

Rockland Bespoke Living does not undertake gas work, major electrical work, roofing, structural alterations, major plumbing or work outside current skills, experience or equipment.

If a job needs a different specialist, I’ll say so clearly. That honesty is part of the service.
